T Bolt Product Describsion

T bolts are Boltead’s main product. We are a manufacturer of these bolts and also a supplier of these bolts. While producing and supplying these bolts, we also produce nuts, washers and other fastener products used in conjunction with them.

The t bolts we produce are generally classified according to whether the material is carbon steel or stainless steel. More specific classifications are as follows:

Carbon steel t bolts are generally classified according to strength levels. The more common strength levels are: 4.8, 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9. Among them, bolts with grade 8.8 or above are generally called high-strength bolts (high tensile bolts).Stainless steel t bolts are generally classified according to different materials. The more common stainless steel materials are SUS201 SUS304 SUS316

In addition to different materials and strengths, the biggest impact on t bolts is surface treatment. The following are the more common surface treatments for t bolts: black oxide, black zinc, zinc plated (ZP), color zinc plating (CZP /YZP), hot dip galvanized (HDG), dacromet coating, etc.

T Bolt Production Process

T bolts are sent from the raw material line to the final product. They generally go through the following process:
Annealing of raw materials – pickling – drawing – forming – grinding – heat treatment – surface treatment – classification – packaging – shipping

T Bolt Application fields

Examples of Uses of T Bolts:

  1. Clamping and Fixturing: These bolts are commonly used in clamping and fixturing applications in machining and manufacturing processes. They provide a secure and adjustable means of fastening workpieces to machine tool tables, workbenches, and fixtures during milling, drilling, grinding, and other machining operations.

  2. Jigs and Fixtures: These bolts are essential components in the construction of jigs and fixtures used in woodworking, metalworking, and assembly processes. They are used to secure workpieces in place, guide cutting or drilling operations, and ensure accuracy and repeatability in production processes such as woodworking joinery, metal fabrication, and assembly line manufacturing.

  3. Modular Framing Systems: These bolts are integral components in modular framing systems used for constructing structures, frames, enclosures, and machinery bases. They allow for the assembly of modular components such as aluminum extrusions, brackets, and panels, enabling the creation of custom-designed structures for applications in robotics, automation, conveyor systems, and industrial equipment.

  4. Fastening Components: These bolts are employed in various fastening applications where a strong, secure connection is required. They can be used to fasten components such as conveyor belts, conveyor rollers, machine guards, electrical enclosures, and access panels in industrial machinery, material handling equipment, and factory automation systems.

  5. Roofing and Construction: In construction and roofing applications, These bolts are used to secure roofing materials such as metal panels, flashing, and roofing membrane to structural supports such as steel purlins or wooden rafters. They provide a reliable fastening solution for attaching roofing components in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.

  6. Automotive and Vehicle Assembly: These bolts find applications in automotive and vehicle assembly processes for securing components such as seats, brackets, trim panels, and interior fittings. They are used in conjunction with threaded inserts or tapped holes in vehicle frames, chassis, and body panels to provide a strong, vibration-resistant attachment point for automotive components.

  7. Utility and Infrastructure: These bolts are utilized in utility and infrastructure projects for fastening street signs, traffic signals, lighting fixtures, and electrical equipment to utility poles, traffic signal poles, and other support structures. They provide a secure mounting solution for outdoor fixtures and equipment in urban, suburban, and rural environments.

These examples highlight the versatility of T bolts across various industries and applications, showcasing their importance in facilitating secure fastening, assembly, and construction processes.
