Here are some common materials for hex bolts:

Common carbon steel hex bolts come in various strength grades and surface treatments.

The strength grade of hex bolts primarily depends on the inherent properties of the raw materials and the manufacturing process.

Common strength grades for carbon steel hex bolts include: 4.8, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 10.9, 12.9.

For stainless steel hex bolts, common strength grades include: A2-70, A4-70, A4-80.
